BIO-8-POWDER IS AVAILABLE!
All meats and vegetables must be fit for human consumption.
Just like people, all pets are different. My dog likes vegetables and I normally make his food with as much as 20% vegetables. You will figure out what your pet’s preferences are and balance that with what their nutritional needs are.
My dog dislikes chicken. I still feed this protein to him one time weekly.
Your pet should have a rotational diet. This means that you should switch up the protein as much as possible. It is acceptable to feed their favorite protein more often than other proteins but it is best to switch the protein daily for a variety of nutrients and optimal health benefits.
Try to feed your pet only in the mornings. This transition might be a little difficult for a pet that is used to eating in the evenings but remember all healing happens during hours of rest. If food is being digested the body must focus on that process and that means it cannot direct its energy to healing and repairing itself.
Unless you started your pet on a raw meat-based diet as a very young animal then they are already imprinted with kibble. They can not recognize real food. A raw diet will be unknown, smell funny, feel different in their mouths, and be a different temperature. Pets are highly suspicious of any change in routine. If your pet refuses to eat this new diet do not give up.
